Beatuiful wedding at Lafayette Club

I had the pleasure of helping decorate and set up at the wedding of Lindsey and J.R. on August 23rd at the Lafayette Club on Lake Minnetonka. They, with the help of their florist Molly, came up with really interesting and beautiful ways to use the Manhattan centerpiece.

They had three different centerpieces in the room. One was the complete Manhattan with a vase of a dozen red roses inside...what normally would have been a plain glass vase of roses was made absolutely spectacular by using these beaded hurricanes. The second centerpiece was using just the pewter base of the Manhattan with a simple glass hurricane, pillar candle, and red rose petals...extremely elegant and pretty. The third centerpiece was a tall riser with a large red rose topiary at the top - amazing! The combination and balance of these three centerpieces was perfect in the room.

Roses and the "Manhattan"

Below are three examples of how the Manhattan centerpiece can add a unique touch to an already amazing floral centerpiece. First two arrangements by Sadie's. Third arrangement by Molly's.
